On June 17, Japanese Ambassador to Turkmenistan Sasaki Hiroshi visited the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
During his visit, the Ambassador ceremoniously presented the university leadership with dozens of introductory books about Japan in English, a gift from the Nippon Foundation.
The ambassador also got acquainted with the library and reading rooms of the university, visited the Museum of Geology and the DRILL SIM-5000 drilling training laboratory, located at the Faculty of Oil and Gas.
At the end of the visit, Ambassador Sasaki Hiroshi expressed gratitude for the opportunity to visit the university.
Let us remind that in June, the Embassy of Japan in Turkmenistan donated books from the Nippon Foundation to two Turkmen universities and Ashgabat School No. 140 within the framework of the READ JAPAN PROJECT.
