The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the Baku Energy Week held in Baku from June 2 to 4, 2025. On June 2, 2025, the 30th International Exhibition "Caspian Oil and Gas" began its work within the framework of the Baku Energy Week, and 267 energy companies from 39 countries of the world participated in the exhibition.
At the opening ceremony of the international exhibition, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev spoke in detail about how the "Baku Energy Week" has become a prestigious forum where a wide range of issues are discussed - from traditional energy sources to renewable energy sources, energy diplomacy is promoted, strategic cooperation is established, new approaches are developed and international energy negotiations are held.
Then, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Türkiye, Alparslan Bayraktar, made a speech at this international exhibition and read out a message from the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to the participants of the event. The statement noted that there are significant opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of exporting Turkmen gas through Azerbaijan and Türkiye, and that this project will make a significant contribution to expanding the geography of energy supplies and improving the well-being of the countries in the region.
Then, on June 3-4, within the framework of the Baku Energy Week, the "Baku Energy Forum" began its work, in which more than 800 representatives from the governments of dozens of countries, international energy companies and organizations took part. The forum focused on energy security, the development of renewable energy sources, and implementation of "green" energy. The forum also discussed the potential of offshore wind energy in the Caspian region, cooperation in cross-border energy projects and the digital transformation of the energy sector.
